Collin Donaldson

Collin Donaldson is a lifelong resident of Pittsburgh and a full time student at the University of Pittsburgh, where he is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration as a finance major and is expected to  graduate in May 2027. He is deeply dedicated to finding a cure for achalasia because he never wants other families to witness a loved one endure the condition the way his father did during his fight with achalasia.

Rooney McManus

Rooney McManus is a full-time student at Indiana University of Pennsylvania, where he is working toward a degree that will lead to teacher certification. A passionate sports enthusiast, Rooney also has strong community connections and a genuine commitment to helping others. He will use those relationships and that dedication to help maximize funding in the effort to find a cure for achalasia.

Cory Kane

Cory Kane is a City of Pittsburgh employee who is deeply committed to serving the community, both through his professional work and his active involvement with other nonprofit organizations, including board roles with several groups. A dedicated supporter of Pittsburgh and an avid sports fan, Cory is especially passionate about his beloved Pitt Panthers football team. As the board’s senior statesman, he brings experience, perspective, and just enough humor to help keep the younger members on track in the fight to advance achalasia research.

Gavin Donaldson

Gavin Donaldson will earn a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Financial Management & Investment from the University of Arkansas in the summer of 2026. Although he was born in Jacksonville, Florida, outside of the week or so he lived there, Gavin has been a lifelong resident of Pittsburgh and is a diehard baseball fan. His interest in finance will help maximize the funds that C.A.N. raises to support achalasia research.

Evan Donaldson

Evan Donaldson is a student at Fox Chapel Area High School, where he is set to graduate in June 2027. He is a member of the National Honor Society and a leader of his school’s Best Buddies International organization. During his high school career, Evan is on pace to raise more than $10,000 in donations for Special Olympics, and he will put his fundraising prowess to use in helping find a cure for achalasia.
